Jonathan Sweedler is Editor-in-Chief of Analytical Chemistry and Director of the School of Chemical Sciences at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He received the Torbern Bergmann Award at the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Swedish Chemical Society in Lund, Sweden. The Award is named for a pioneering analytical chemistry research scientist at Uppsala University from 1767 to 1784, with more than 300 publications.
