ACS Advances in Measurement Science Lectureships

The Division would like to congratulate awardees of the 2019 ACS Advances in Measurement Sciences Lectureship, presented by Analytical Chemistry, Journal of Proteome Research, ACS Sensors and the Division of Analytical Chemistry.  Awardees will present lectures at Pittcon 2019.

Charles S. Henry
Colorado State University

Charles S. Henry received his PhD from the University of Arkansas followed by postdoctoral studies at the University of Kansas. He started his academic career at Mississippi State University before moving to Colorado State University in 2002, where he is currently Professor of Chemistry. His research interests are broadly in the areas of microfluidics and electrochemistry with application to questions in bioanalytical and environmental chemistry.

Chunhai Fan
Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Chunhai Fan is a Shanghai Jiao Tong University Chair Professor. He is a fellow of AAAS, RSC and ISE. He is also an Associate Editor of ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. Dr. Fan has published nearly 300 papers in nucleic acid chemistry, biosensors and bioimaging.

Ester H. Segal
Technion – Israel Institute of Technology

Ester H. Segal is an Associate Professor of Biotechnology and Food Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. She received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Technion in 2004 and later trained at the University of California – San Diego, where she was a Rothschild postdoctoral fellow.
