This symposium on Wearable & Implantable Sensors brings together an interdisciplinary group of researchers to discuss cutting-edge ideas for wearable or implantable systems that can sense and respond to dynamic living systems. Topics involving sensor design, multi-analyte detection, living sensors, micro/nano-fluidics, flexible electronics, wearable biosensors, microdevice design and manufacturing, and bio-inspired interfaces will be explored. Invited and contributed lectures will be presented from academia, industry, and government scientists and engineers. Applied systems for environmental monitoring, human performance, warfighter health, and disease management will be presented.
