Dear Fellow Analytical Chemist:
Each year, the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry holds elections for new officers. We are requesting nominations from the membership for the following offices:
Chair (for a 4-year term as Chair-elect, Program Chair, Chair and Past-chair)
Secretary (for a two-year term) Councilor (1)
and Alternate Councilors (2) (for a three-year term).
The practice of the Division has been to select Chairs employed in academia and industry/government in alternate years. This year’s election for the position of Chair will target industry/government scientists. Nominations for Chair, Secretary, and Councilors are open to all members of the Division. At least 2 candidates are needed to complete the ballot for both Chair and Secretary. At least four candidates are needed to complete the ballot for Councilor and Alternate Councilors. Nomination materials should include a letter describing your interest in the position and a CV, and be submitted by May 10th via email to duckworthdc@ornl.gov
Candidates will be selected from the nomination pool by the Division Executive Committee.
