Analytical Chemistry and The Chemical and Biological Microsystems Society are seeking nominations for the 2020 Young Innovator Award. The award honors the contributions of an individual who has demonstrated exceptional technical advancement and innovation in the field of microfluidics or nanofluidics in his or her early career. The award will be presented at the 24th International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences (μTAS) 2020 in Palm Springs, California, October 4-8, 2020. Recent Past Winners:
- 2019 – Keisuke Goda, University of Tokyo and Wuhan University
- 2018 – Sunitha Nagrath, University of Michigan
- 2017 – Tony Jun Huang, Duke University
The 2020 Winner will Receive:
- An award plaque
- An honorarium of US$2,500
- Up to US$1,500 in travel and accommodations funding to attend μTAS 2020
Eligibility:
- A nominee’s doctorate must have been earned in the past 15 years
- Self-nominations are allowed
Additional Information:
- The award winner is expected to be present at the meeting at which the award is presented.
- Before making a nomination, you must get the nominee’s consent to share information about them as part of the nomination process. This is necessary for the American Chemical Society, ACS Publications, and The Chemical and Biological Microsystems Society to comply with laws and rules around the processing of personal data.
- PLEASE NOTE: We will no longer carry over nominations made in the past two years. To be considered for the 2020 award, you must submit, or have a colleague submit, a new nomination.
