Joseph J. Kirkland Award in Chromatography

In 2024, the American Chemical Society stopped presenting the ACS Award in Chromatography as a national level award due to lack of funding. To adapt the award into a divisional level honor given by the Division of Analytical Chemistry, the co-founders of Advanced Materials Technology provided initial support to establish the Joseph J. Kirkland Award in Chromatography starting in 2025. As an extension of the most prestigious American Chemical Society award in separation science, we believe it is important to continue the opportunity to provide recognition to outstanding leaders in this field. To sustain the award at the divisional level, and eventually re-establish it at the national level, we are seeking additional funds from the broader scientific community. Supporters of the award will be recognized on the Division award page.
