In 2024, the American Chemical Society stopped presenting the ACS Award in Chromatography as a national level award due to lack of funding. To adapt the award into a divisional level honor given by the Division of Analytical Chemistry, the co-founders of Advanced Materials Technology provided initial support to establish the Joseph J. Kirkland Award in Chromatography starting in 2025. As an extension of the most prestigious American Chemical Society award in separation science, we believe it is important to continue the opportunity to provide recognition to outstanding leaders in this field. To sustain the award at the divisional level, and eventually re-establish it at the national level, we are seeking additional funds from the broader scientific community.
Contributions of any amount will be accepted to help endow this Kirkland Award for the future. Note that a 3% credit card processing fee will be deducted from the donation amount. If you prefer to make your donation another way, please contact our business office (office@acsanalytical.org).
