2022 Candidates for the Subdivision on Chromatography and Separations Chemistry

Candidates for Executive Committee Member

Jonathan Shackman, Bristol Myers Squibb, ACS Member Since 2001

Election Statement: I am fortunate to have been a member on the SCSC Executive Committee for the past four years. Recently, the Subdivision has been highly active, with well-attended general meetings (even through the pandemic!), administration of the Young Investigator’s award and symposia, the rollout of a new grant program, partnering with CHROMacademy, modernizing our logo and internet presence, and several more endeavors. I believe I can continue to bring a unique perspective to the board, having served in three major arenas (government, industry, and academics) during my professional career, and offer my commitment to continue to serve the Subdivision in a high-energy capacity to meet all its directives.

Robbyn K. Anand, Iowa State University, ACS Member Since 2010

Election Statement: I am excited to serve on the ACS SCSC Executive Committee to create opportunities and support existing programs for chemists in the separations science community to connect professionally and to share and celebrate advancements.
